But there was no denying
that Karen was becoming
a beautiful young woman,
much like a butterfly
coming out of a cocoon.
Gone were the braces.
Also gone were her
glasses.... Her hair
seemed to be getting
fuller, richer, and
prettier, too, with the
kind of natural waves
and body that
hairdressers are often
asked to create. And,
not too long into her
teenage years, it became
evident that she
inherited her mom’s
sensuous figure. From a
quick glance, though,
she was an uncanny blend
of both parents.
